I believe every person has the opportunity to leave a legacy in their life.  The concept of leaving your stamp on this earth drives me every day to understand and unlock my intrinsic superpowers.

And life is not always smooth sailing.   I have a deep understanding of the obstacles we all encounter. I too, have navigated the transitions of life - and anointed myself a "work in progress".  Through my journey of career transformation, relationship refreshes, and wellness discovery I came to understand the one ingredient that is necessary to sustain real change in my life.  The key to change is by understanding your core values and aligning your energy with those values.

I offer you a solid academic foundation-but honestly -- my personal story is just as valuable in your coaching experience. I am a mom of 4 boys (yes, FOUR) - and  dog momma to Violet, a French bulldog.  I am a wife to a solid guy --who gets me (most of the time) -but has sat front row center to witness this girls' quirks -- like enjoying Siracha on almost anything (except ice-cream) -- and my awesome dance moves whenever a Queen Beyoncé

 song plays.

My mission is to be a good human -- everyday. And sometimes I stumble.  And other times, I soar.

a note from Julie

Leave A Legacy.

You got this,

We are all trying to make our mark on this world. We are all trying to live our best lives. Sometimes it takes an objective outsider to take you to the next level.

Whether your want to build business, grow and scale your company or improve your life satisfaction-you need to start with action.

Why is change hard? Even if we know we need change-getting out of your comfort zone is scary. The feeling of change is uncomfortable and our brains are wired to rely on patterns. When our brains start noticing different patterns-the brain struggles to catch up.

We doubt ourselves.  We believe we are imposters.  We compare.  These mindsets are in complete opposition to where we want to be.  When our minds are firmly rooted in the antithesis of our goals we are headed on a path to failure.

What I know to be true, is that when we start thinking and acting like we are the person we are meant to be--the universe aligns and this is what we become. Don't Fake it Till You Make It- Act It Until You Are It.

Your brain does not know the difference between rehearsal and reality.

All it takes is 20 seconds of unabashed courage to make a change.  It is as simple as that

Stay Strong, Stay Healthy, And Stay Courageous.

real me campaign

Pay it forward by volunteering.

I am leading a grassroots campaign to help excite our youth to volunteer while raising funds for worthy causes.  In the era of the entitled young person, it can be a pivotal experience to find meaning in "doing for others".

Through my passion project, the #RealMeCampaign, I use social media to harness an untapped market of philanthropists.  By eliciting immediate needs of non-profits, I have raised thousands of dollars through this platform.  If you are interested in assisting or have a cause you would like promoted through the #realmecampaign please reach out at julie@julielokuncoaching.com

Giving a voice to those who are weak--has been a natural extension of my coaching mission.  AND ending the shame victims of domestic violence feel is my call to action.

Wings Program, Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing victims of domestic violence a sanctuary of safety by providing homes and necessary resources in the hopes of independence.  Support services include counseling, legal assistance, career guidance, educational assistance, and access to housing. If you are a victim of domestic violence or know someone who is a victim of domestic violence, I urge you to contact The Wings Program.
